The new guys in the front office wasted no time attacking the salary blight that was threatening the financial stability of the Colorado Everest.  After some spirited negotiations with four teams, general manager Joe Geoghegan announced a multi-player deal with the Carson City Silver Strikers.  The quickness of the announcement and the magnitude of the deal caught some reporters by surprise, and the initial reaction among fans is mixed.

Meet the Carson City Silver Strikers

After 117 losses and weeks of speculation, it’s now official: the West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx are moving to Carson City, Nevada.
The franchise will be now be known as the Carson City Silver Strikers, in homage to the Nevada state capital’s rich silver history.
“After the rough season we had, it will be nice to start fresh again in a new city with a new look,” General Manager Green & Gold Heart said. “The city of Carson City has welcomed us with open arms.”

44,686 fans were in attendance in the Princeton Fieldhouse as the best of the best in the Classic Baseball Union battled it out in the league’s first All-Star game. On a cool night with a slight wind the Landis League and Giamatti League All-Stars took to the field for the 7:05 game time to begin writing history.
