Major League Baseball Goes on Strike

August 12, 1994 – The Major League Baseball Players Association announced today that it is going on strike against the owners of Major League Baseball. This comes as quite a shock as the owners were not willing to match the money being given to players in the Classic Baseball Union who are ultimately less talented.

The strike works against MLB twice however, and shows the shrewdness of the CBU investors as they have already swayed a small yet significant portion of the MLB fan base. The CBU is gaining popularity strength and the MLB is possibly trashing its 1994 season.

Its hard to see how the MLB strike will be anything but good for the CBU.
