Follwing the euphoria of Friday when officials of the Classic Baseball Union confirmed rumors that Whitehorse was in line for a CBU franchise, things took a darker turn when word spread that Don Bemont aka “Beorn” aka “The Most Boring Man on Earth” had been selected to head the franchise.

The league office of the Classic Baseball Union has officially approved a franchise for Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.
Team owner, Norman Viger, in his press release, thanked all those that helped to make this happen. He was quick to note though, that the real work has yet to start.

The city of Nashville, Tennessee was abuzz this morning as Mayor Karl Dean announced the city has secured a team for the debut of the CBU. The Nashville Apostles will be taking the field this spring at SunTrust Field located downtown near the Tennessee Titans’ LP Field.

Sioux Falls – The first team of the Classic Baseball Union has thrown its hat into the ring and has unveiled today its new logo. This logo features the primary colors of the Sioux Falls colors along with concept drawings for the yet to be named mascot.
Fans will be able to vote on the mascot’s name, among many other details during visits to the new but still under construction ballpark that will finish before the season start.
